Why can't I pay for my order?

A minimum of $15 is required to process payment and shipping for an order.

Why is my product in a plastic container?

Some products are sold in glass jars and others in PET plastic jars. Why? Lightweight, durable, safe, and with a lower carbon footprint than other materials, PET is the most recyclable plastic in the world. It also helps us reduce product weight and, consequently, transport costs. We encourage you to recycle the containers!

Why is my package box not an original box? 

We promote recycling and reducing our ecological footprint. You may receive your order in a repurposed box from our home, our coffee shop, or a supplier. This also allows us to reduce the costs of our products and shipping.

How long and how can I store my soap?

Soaps can be kept for several years, although it is best to use them within one year of purchase. Essential oils may become less present, and colors (mineral and/or natural) may fade, especially since we limit the use of essential oils. Some spots may appear after a few months; this is a normal reaction to "superfatting." It is best to keep soaps away from humidity and water jets. It is essential to let them dry after use on a soap dish (we have beautiful pine ones in store!). Our soaps undergo a 6-week curing period to ensure proper saponification.

What is the soap-making process?

We use cold saponification (traditional method). Our soaps are handmade, one by one, so colors may vary.

How can I store my bath bombs?

It is important to keep bath bombs away from humidity (ideally away from the bathroom!). A "ziploc" type airtight bag is perfectly suitable, and then into the fridge!

Why do bath salts no longer release an odor in the water?

Essential oils are used sparingly in our products. They are precious and can sometimes be irritating to the skin. Moreover, they lose their fragrant capacity upon contact with water; they are said to be hydrophobic. Not mixing with water, their odor disperses. Most products that continue to have an odor in water or on the skin are composed of fragrance oil and (chemical) perfumes.

Why does my candle have a "frosted" appearance?

Most commercial candle manufacturers use paraffin and chemical ingredients to prevent the appearance of this "frosted" effect. We use natural soy wax, and since candles are poured one by one, it is completely normal to see this frosted appearance. Others prefer to use amber containers or wrap-around labels to mask this effect. For us, the frosted appearance is a guarantee that your candle was made with pure soy wax.
